| Baltimore’s GM traded up for Luke Kuechly, a desperate move for a team that doesn’t need a middle linebacker bad enough to warrant a 10-spot move. The GM sacrificed precious picks in middle rounds, which could have been used to add depth on an aging team, to get Kuechly. Ben Jones should be a rookie starter if he can play guard for a few seasons. | Grade: C- |
| Pick | Overall | Choice | Notes | |
| 1.17 | 17 | Luke Kuechly, ILB from Boston College | Kuechly is a special player and will be an ideal candidate once the greatest linebacker of all time, Ray Lewis, hangs up his cleats. With a stacked roster the Ravens have the ability to trade some picks to get quality over quantity. | |
| 2.29 | 61 | Ben Jones, C from Georgia | Drafting a center in the 1st round is for suckers....like the Steelers. We waited until the 2nd round and still got a guy that can start from day one. | |
| 5.29 | 156 | Chris Owusu, WR from Stanford | I know about the concussion issues but Owusu is a special talent. He's explosive returning kicks which is where I see him playing mainly. Intelligent player that will fit in nicely in our locker room. | |
| 7.29 | 219 | Kendrick Presley, S from Southern Miss |
