#MockOne Draft Results

Draft grades courtesy of Matt Miller
Ronnell Lewis projects best as a 3-4 outside linebacker, making his selection by the 4-3 Saints a bit of a question mark. Bobbie Massie in the third is smart, as the team should be adding help at tackle. No wide receiver was drafted to replace Robert Meachem, which is surprising. With Drew Brees not signing his franchise tender, and Chase Daniel as the backup, drafting a quarterback once they started falling would have been smart.

2.2759Ronnell Lewis, DE
from Oklahoma
Excellent versatility. Will be used perfectly by Spagnuolo. Saints probably won't have this pick anyway. BountyGate
3.2790Bobby Massie, OT
from Ole Miss
Right Tackle is being manned right now by an average-to-below average starter and an injury-prone young player. Massie has Pro-Bowl potential.
4.27122Terrell Manning, OLB
from North Carolina St.
BPA at a position that needs depth
5.27154Donnie Fletcher, CB
from Boston College
Physical corner has upside in Spagnuolo's defense. Also CB needs quality depth
6.09168Hebron Fangupu, DT
from B.Y.U.
Big body who can play the nose next to Sedrick Ellis and rotate in with Shaun Rogers or Aubrayo Franklin, or both. Has tremendous upside. Transferred to BYU from USC.
7.27217Tyler Nielsen, OLB
from Iowa
Great value. Can be used inside or out. Adds depth and athleticism to an area of need.
